New York Day Three
After an excellent sleep on what can only be described as a chip packet in the form of a mattress (plastic protective layer), we headed out to Central Park. We picked up some cold brew, baguette, and a chocolate chip walnut cookie on the way.
Trying to bring her temperature down.
Best cookie ever.
Our destination was the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Walking through the park we encountered many interesting things.
Baby squirrel.
Fountain in the middle of the park.
We arrived at the Met ready for the sweet relief of AC. All Praise.
Climbing the iconic stairs.
Spending around four hours wandering through, we didn’t take tons of photos, mainly looking instead but here are some highlights.
“I want that one.”
Child about to haunt your dreams.
Wait are we in France already?
Just a fancy bed right..?
Apparently it belongs in the family.
Lunch break!
Original street lights from New York.
Rectangle piano.
A Strad Cello in the flesh.
Catching the bus back to the apartment, Jordan had the honour of sitting next to a dog.
After a doze and a blog post write up, we headed downtown for dinner.
Dessert first of course.
Seth ordering everything on the menu.
Leftovers for breakfast tomorrow, we always have bigger eyes than our stomachs. Plans for tomorrow include Chinatown and Ground Zero.
