New York Day Eight
We walked past this Spy Museum a few days previously and couldn’t wait to go check it out.
Having booked tickets the day before, we headed downtown and excitedly went in. Upon entering we were given wrist tags with RFID chips in them. With these we were then set up with a spy profile, able to scan them at designated check points to answer questions, and complete challenges.
Jordan at said check point.
Not only games, there was also artifacts.
Enigma machine.
Part of the processing for the Enima machine.
They also looked at Annonymous.
Definitely ready for lunch, we headed over to a nearby vegan store and picked up a burrito, sandwich, and cauliflower bites.
So hungry.
With the afternoon still free, we went out to spot one of the most iconic New York attractions: the Statue of Liberty!
It’s right there, can’t you see it?
We had decided to see it from Battery Park, instead of going all the way over. Given the 30 degree intense heat, it was much nicer to sit in the shade and eat an ice cream!
With our relaxing afternoon achieved, we made our way back home on the subway. Picking up a dinner from the local mart next door, our dinner consisted of Hot Pockets and carrots (when in Rome).
