France Day Two

Definitely still out of it, we didn’t wake up until 11am. I think also props to the comfy bed and first comfortable temperatures in a few weeks. After having a breakfast of coffee, banana, and cheese (a classic combination) we lazed for a bit enjoying the sun and the selection of books avaliable at the apartment.

Deciding it was time to stop being lazy, we headed out into the town centre of Caen. The only real plan was to pick up something for dinner, so we took our time wandering around the shops, looking at the market.

We eventually found our way into a supermarket, picking up extra supplies for the next few days before heading back home. Doing some French Duolingo practise and writting up several back dated days of blogs was on the cards.

Tomorrow we plan to head over to William’s Castle and check out some museums.
