For those who don’t know, this market is London’s most famous, boasting a wide selection of local and international foods. You can trace its roots back to the twelfth century, with the current buildings it resides in dating from the 1850s. Exploring Caens’ History

We began the morning with exploring the city and walking around the Saturday market before heading towards the castle. Not all markets have a carousel! We made our way though the city centre towards La Chataeu De Caen for our castle fix. After emerging from a narrow old street, we gazed upon the west side of the castle and made our approach. Walking around the periphery, we were suddenly ambushed by some French tourists who were looking for the entrance; It seems the castle was still well fortified against unwanted infiltrators. ...

New York Day Eight

We walked past this Spy Museum a few days previously and couldn’t wait to go check it out. Having booked tickets the day before, we headed downtown and excitedly went in. Upon entering we were given wrist tags with RFID chips in them.
